In this month's Processor Magazine, Prevoyance Group president Patrick Gray suggests that there is more to purchasing new servers than the old "bigger, better and faster" criteria frequently employed by IT. Looking at what capabilities can be provided with new hardware, especially as related to virtualized environments with higher service levels to end users is critical.
