Commenting on the tendency of IT to overlook the importance of hiring, and "outsource" the critical talent management function of IT to human resources, this month's Processor magazine highlights Prevoyance Group president Patrick Gray's thoughts on the issue. Rather than "certification surfing," Gray suggests a more holistic approach and suggests that due diligence, while expensive in the short term, provides more capable and long lasting talent in the long run.
